Prepatory Classes for Grandes Écoles (CPGE)

Are you enrolling in prepatory classes for the Grandes Écoles? In compliance with the partnership agreement between your secondary school and the University of Bordeaux, you must also register for one of the Bachelor degrees offered by the university.

University of Bordeaux registration

The dual registration procedure at the University of Bordeaux is electronic. As from mid-September, your secondary school will give you a letter with your individual login ID.

You are registering for the first time at the university

1. Starting in May, connect to the messervices.etudiants.gouv.fr website and pay the Student and Campus Life Contributon - CVEC (unless you benefit from a scholarship).

2. The CROUS will issue a certificate with a number that is mandatory for your registration at the university.

3. In September, connect to the apogee.u-bordeaux.fr/inscription website and pay the tuition fees (exemptions are taken into account).

4. Submit your supporting documents on the apogee.u-bordeaux.fr/pjweb website.

5. The Admissions department will check the information entered and the documents provided. After validation, your certificate of enrolment and your student ID card will be sent to your secondary school.

6. Activate your digital ID (IDNUM) to access the university's digital services: https://activation.u-bordeaux.fr

You are re-registering at the university

1. Starting in May, connect to the messervices.etudiants.gouv.fr website and pay the Student and Campus Life Contribution - CVEC (unless you benefit from a scholarship).

2. The CROUS will issue a certificate with a number that is mandatory for your registration at the university.

3. You already have a student number: connect to your digital work environment to continue your administrative registration: fill in your parallel institution (lycée/secondary school) and the tab 'scholarship based on social criteria (bourse sur critères sociaux)' if you benefit from a scholarship.

4. Submit your supporting documents on the apogee.u-bordeaux.fr/pjweb website.

5. The Admissions department will check the information entered and the documents provided. After validation, your certificate of enrolment and your student ID card will be sent to your secondary school.

Switching to a university programme

After your 1st year of CPGE

1. You are eligible for the second year of CPGE

  • You can continue in year 2 of the same Bachelor you were registered in, simply follow the re-registration procedure (as from July 6th).
  • You want to switch to one of the Bachelor degrees listed in this chart in view of your specialisation. In order for your application to be processed by the joint committee, you must inform your lycée of your intention as soon as possible.
  • You want to switch to a Bachelor that is not in the chart, in view of your specialisation. You must submit an admission application on APOFLUX.

2. You are not eligible for the second year of CPGE

  • Your application must be processed by the joint committee. You must inform your lycée of your intention as soon as possible.

After your 2nd year of CPGE

1. You are eligible for an engineering school competitive exam

  • You can continue in year 3 of the Bachelor you were already registered in, simply by following the re-registration procedure (as from July 6th).
  • You want to switch to one of the Bachelor degree listed in this chart in view of your specialisation. In order for your application to be processed by the joint committee, you must inform your lycée of your intention as soon as possible.
  • You want to switch to a Bachelor that is not in the chart, in view of your specialisation. You must submit an admission application on APOFLUX.

2. You are not eligible for an engineering school competitive exam

  • Your application must be processed by the joint committee. You must inform your lycée of your intention as soon as possible.
