The University of Bordeaux has numerous sports facilities, including several that have been recently renovated. Students also have access to municipal or private facilities in the Bordeaux metropolitan area.

University facilities are located on two sites: the Rocquencourt campus and the Monadey campus.

The University of Bordeaux SUAPS (University Service for Physical and Sports Activities) handles the management and maintenance of the sports facilities.

The facilities can be rented from the SUAPS by university and third-party partners, especially for events.

With a surface area of 28 hectares for recreational purposes, the University of Bordeaux has one of the largest sports campuses in Europe.
