Helpdesks

Student Life Centres centralise and provide helpful information and services dealing with:

  • How the university works and the services provided, redirection to the appropriate service that can handle your request
  • Questions related to your student life, assistance with day-to-day procedures (accommodation, employment, financial aid) and public services (CAF, TBM, etc.)
  • International student support upon arrival and throughout their stay to make them feel more at 'home'
  • Involvement in university associations or playing a socially responsible role in the community.

Please note

Students on sites without helpdesks can contact the Student Life Centres (BVE), admissions office or their academic department administrative office.

Plus...

The Peixotto campus Student Life Centre in Talence, via its point of contact, offers additional services to students in the College of sciences and technology:

  • transcripts, certificates of achievement and diplomas
  • some academic documents related to your courses

Follow the BVEs on social media and never miss a thing on campus!

International students: welcome to Bordeaux!

The International Mobility Offices and Student Life Centres (BVE) will provide support upon your arrival in Bordeaux.

An orientation week is organised for exchange students, with guided tours of the campuses. You'll receive the information you need to discover the programme and register.

French language courses

French as a Foreign Language courses (FLE) are offered free of charge to students in exchange programmes. Your International Mobility Office will provide information to get you signed up.

Mentors

French students can become mentors for international students: provide support for different procedures and in discovering the University of Bordeaux, but above all, help them get used to life in Bordeaux, French culture and habits.
