Mainly based in the Bordeaux metropolitan area with 7 campus sites including 3 in the Bordeaux city centre, the university also extends over the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.

Located in Agen, Périgueux, Pau, Bayonne, Mont de Marsan and Dax, the University of Bordeaux provides easy access to quality higher education (including in health, thanks to specific access programmes) for all students from the surrounding areas.

Connected campus sites

In addition, the recent development of connected campus sites located in mid-sized towns (Bergerac, Périgueux, Mont de Marsan, Sainte Foy la Grande, Saint Macaire and Villeneuve-sur-Lot) has strengthened the presence of the University of Bordeaux in these areas alongside local authorities.

The innovative spaces offer young and old alike nearby access to higher education whether in initial or continuing education.
