Apprentice Training Centre

Updated on:

The University of Bordeaux Apprentice Training Centre (CFA) will support you every step of the way in your apprenticeship process, from finding a host organisation for your contract through to graduation.

Main missions

  • Promote and develop apprenticeships for all the professions covered by University of Bordeaux programmes
  • Make young people more aware of the university's training programmes in order to encourage their access to employment and the workforce
  • Cooperate with public and private stakeholders involved in the development of apprenticeships
  • Implement the necessary apprenticeship system and organise the legal, academic and financial responsibility for the training programmes

Activities

  • Meet employer recruitment needs as well as young people's needs for training and job placement region-wide
  • Involve employers and apprenticeship mentors/supervisors in the qualification process of future professionals and develop cooperation between the two training poles: companies and the training centre
  • Highlight the specificity of apprenticeships and their teaching methods, which use know-how and experience acquired in a work situation to support the training, concepts, principles and rules and to make them more meaningful

QUALIOPI certification

The University of Bordeaux CFA is QUALIOPI-certified, which attests to the quality of the service and training provided in the programmes open to apprenticeships.
Having the QUALIOPI label makes the training offer more visible to employers, candidates and prescribers, and also facilitates access to public and mutual funds.
QUALIOPI is a French quality standard dedicated to training, which attests to the quality of the process implemented by the providers of initiatives contributing to skills development.
