Social Anthropology and Ethnology Faculty

Updated on:

Courses aim to provide the methodological and theoretical tools which, while recognising the unity of Man, enable the diversity of human societies and the issues at stake to be understood, according to a variety of specific cultural, social, economic and political realities.

These programmes offer many opportunities. On one hand, they open the way to a career as a researcher or lecturer-researcher (university, museum, CNRS, IRD, etc.).

On the other hand, they allow students to plan a shorter path to careers in consulting, expertise, cultural activities or social development, etc.

In the context of continuing education, every year professionals enrol at the Faculty where the courses provide them with a useful reflexive process complementary to their own practices (nurses, social workers, psychologists, etc.).
