Bordeaux School of Public Health (ISPED)

ISPED's main objective is to train the public health professionals of tomorrow.

ISPED's specific fields cover epidemiology, biostatistics, medical computing, environmental health, management of medical and medico-social organisations, health promotion and international health.

The institute offers its courses after secondary school graduation and also to adults returning to school in the context of continuing education. The courses are given in person and/or by distance learning. Some courses are also available in English and Spanish.

The University of Bordeaux-Inserm "Bordeaux Population Health" research centre U1219 is a longstanding ISPED partner. The centre has 10 accredited research teams and 4 emerging teams.

An international outlook is at the heart of ISPED's training and research missions. The institute is particularly focused on relations with developing countries, primarily in the French-speaking world.
