Dental Science Faculty

The Dental Science Faculty (UFR) is responsible for the education of future dentists, as well as continuing education and research in odontology.

At the Dental Science Faculty, a training component of the College of Health Sciences, 21 diplomas are available:

  • 1 state-certified diploma of Doctor of Dental Surgery
  • 3 diplomas in specialised studies (residency in odontology)
  • 7 certificates of higher education in Dental Surgery
  • 10 certificates, University (DU) and Inter-University (DIU) diplomas
  • 3 Master 1 degrees (Sciences & Techniques UER - Teaching & Research Unit)

The CSERD (Centre for Dental Care, Teaching and Research) provides students with clinical training in three units at Bordeaux hospitals (Pellegrin, Saint André and Xavier Arnozan), which make up the Odontology and Oral Health division.
