Innovation

Developing innovation is the University’s third mission and is part of its overall strategy so that it can more effectively tell society about the progress made as part of its two other missions – research and training. The idea is to step up partnerships with socio-economic players as a way of better understanding the challenges involved and encouraging the transfer of knowledge about new products, new uses and new policies that will help citizens and the environment.

  • Ambition

The University of Bordeaux was the winner in the France 2030 programme and has made innovation its third mission, after training and research. As part of its third mission, the university is looking to step up public-private partnerships, to work with research laboratories and help them come up with innovative ideas, and to promote entrepreneurship.

  • Partnerships

By forging closer relationships with players beyond the world of academia, the University of Bordeaux has the means to better understand the challenges involved and to speed up the transfer of knowledge about new products, new uses and new policies.

  • Ressources
